Goldfinch Native Plant Landscaping runs a small native plant nursery licensed with the Maryland Department of Agriculture.  All plants were raised, produced, harvested and propagated by hand with love at our home nursery.

Welcome! In 2022, we started two small wildflower plots along the side of our home to see if we could stabilize an eroding slope of turf in our backyard. Most of the wildflowers in these initial plots were started from Ernst Conservation Seeds but we also added shrubs over the following years. Since then, we have been able to expand garden beds and mother plants, and are now offering a few plants for sale we have had success producing. We are proud of our small but mighty flower garden  - and we also have a pretty sweet bee lawn! Native plants provide so many benefits, culturally and biologically.  Our mission is to get inexpensive, locally-adapted, open-pollinated Maryland native plants into the hands of backyard gardeners in Howard County, Maryland.
